Navalia, Among the Leading Names in Spain’s Shipbuilding Industry Featured in ICEX’s New International Guide

The trade fair is included in the first “Who is Who Shipbuilding in Spain” directory, officially presented during SMM Hamburg

Navalia is featured in the first international guide “Who is Who Shipbuilding in Spain”, a publication promoted by ICEX to showcase the capabilities and key players of Spain’s shipbuilding industry in international markets.

The publication brings together a representative selection of Spain’s shipbuilding ecosystem and is designed as an international promotional tool to showcase the industrial, technological and innovation capabilities of a highly specialised sector with a strong international focus.

Navalia’s Director, Javier Arnau, attended the official presentation this week of the directory produced by ICEX during SMM Hamburg, one of the world’s leading international maritime trade fairs and the first stop on Navalia’s international promotion calendar following its tenth edition.

Navalia’s inclusion in “Who is Who Shipbuilding in Spain” reinforces the trade fair’s role as an international platform for promoting Spain’s shipbuilding industry. Since its launch in 2006, Navalia has worked precisely towards this goal: supporting the internationalisation of companies, generating new business opportunities and helping to showcase internationally the capabilities of shipyards, auxiliary industries, engineering companies and technology providers.

The inclusion in the guide also comes at a time when the organisation has already begun promoting its eleventh edition, which will be held in Vigo from 23 to 25 May 2028. Following Hamburg, Navalia will continue its international agenda over the coming months, attending a number of strategic events for the global shipbuilding and maritime industries.
